Phototaxis

The Game 

"Phototaxis" is about navigating a limited space in the form of a tower and finding your way back to the top after falling down. There are several obstacles that pull players in to impede their progress. Players can choose to walk towards the looming entity at the top or take a different path.

Context

This game was created in the context of an international four day game jam at HTW Berlin during which we partnered with Students from  BAU university in Istanbul to create games with a special focus on biases.

This prototype was part of the Europe Game Science Lab Jam in collaboration with the HTW Berlin, BAU Istanbul, IMT Lucca, UDS Firenze and the Lituanian Innovation Centre, co-financed by the European Union.
